On redistribution of endogenous lamin A / C and LAP2alpha into nuclear aggregates by overexpressing dominant negative lamin mutants in tissue culture cells , Rb was also sequestered into these aggregates . ^^^ Together , these data suggest that hypophosphorylated Rb is anchored in the nucleus by the interaction of pocket C with LAP2alpha lamin A / C complexes . . ^^^

The present study was designed to assess the clinicopathological significance of RB and p 53 pathway related proteins ( p 53 , p21WAF1 / CIP1 and Bax ) expression in resectable invasive ductal carcinoma ( IDC ) of the pancreas . ^^^ However , coexpression analysis of RB and p 53 pathway related proteins indicated that , in the patients with RB ( + ) IDC , the p21WAF1 / CIP1 ( + ) group had a significantly higher survival rate than the p21WAF1 / CIP1 ( ) group . ^^^ On the other hand , in the patients with RB ( ) IDC , the Bax ( + ) group had a significantly higher survival rate than the Bax ( ) group . ^^^
